When the workday ends, my focus shifts entirely to my wife and three kids. I am happiest when spending time with my family, usually out on the water boating or trying to land that next trophy CO trout. The support of my amazing family, and my dedicated EIG family makes every day a joy.
DeEtte Kozlow
Originally from Wisconsin, I traded beer for wine—but cheese remains a favorite food group. A fun fact: one of my first jobs was performing opening night at lip-sync contests around Denver. I enjoy hiking, off-roading, and horseback riding. Now retired from gymnastics coaching and dance choreography, I still dance in the kitchen to “No Diggity.” I love travel, epic adventures, and photography—especially capturing nature.

I was born and raised in Northern California but made my way to Colorado in 2019. Once thinking I would pursue a career in counseling, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2020. My passion for helping others, has landed me a career in insurance! When not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and most of all spending time with my family.
Hadley Sutter
One of my favorite parts of being an insurance broker is caring for my clients like family. I take pride in finding coverage that truly fits and building lasting relationships. When I’m not working, I’m outdoors or baking something sweet – usually with my two cats supervising. As a proud University of Denver alum, you’ll always find me cheering on DU hockey!
Jeffrey Melendez
Born in Manhattan, raised in Westchester, and seasoned by 10 years in the U.S. Army – including six in Germany, which I still miss (especially the beer). I love acting, cigars, a good Scotch, and cracking jokes with friends after work. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I’m a proud grandpa to five wild and wonderful grandkids who keep me humble – and slightly outnumbered.
Jordan Venner
Jordan is a passionate musician and multi-instrumentalist, primarily playing guitar. Outside of music, Jordan enjoys hiking, collecting vinyl records, caring for plants, and relaxing with the occasional glass of wine. These interests keep Jordan balanced and creatively inspired in both personal and professional life.
Kyle Heredia
When not helping my business clients, I enjoy everything outdoors including hiking, camping, and kayaking. Also, I like to spend quality time with my fiancé, family, and friends. You may catch me at a nearby restaurant indulging in a culinary experience or hanging out at the local watering hole time to time too.
Mary Leeds
I’m a Colorado native raised near Steamboat Springs with deep ranching roots. I spend my time raising AQHA horses on the western slope, gardening with flowers, and volunteering in my community. I have three wonderful daughters, a loyal Yorkie/Maltese mix dog, named Timone, and a love for desserts, Christmas traditions, and anything that brings people together.
Rob McKay
I’ve been happily married for 38 years, with two amazing daughters and two wonderful grandchildren who remind me what truly matters. I believe life gives back what you put in – whether it’s volunteering with the Assistance League of Denver or helping others in need. When I’m not working, you’ll find me fly fishing, cycling, or exploring global cuisine.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time outdoors, relaxing with a good book or movie, and most importantly—spending time with his wife and two daughters. His favorite moments are the ones spent exploring new places and making memories.

I grew up in Colorado as a native and have moved all over the state during my life here. As such I like a good deal of outdoor activities, especially during the summer months. But the water is where I’m truly at home, as I often describe myself as ‘fish that walks like a man.’
